Bella Oaks is a family owned and operated ranch dedicated to keeping horsemanship and horse back riding programs safe, educational, fun and elemental. Our wholesome family-style community is designed to teach beginners and advanced riders alike to appreciate the beauty of the horse, horseback riding and the lifestyle of ranch living. Incorporating integrity, care, and the love we have for horses. Located in the beautiful Alhambra Valley we offer English and Western riding programs for riders of all levels. Our focus is to build a strong foundation of skills around horses, safety that follows CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) standards, and the true joy and love of riding.

We Do Trail Rides
We are offering an introductory horseback trail riding experience down a spectacular, shaded path, under grand old oak and bay trees. Ride beside a beautiful meandering creek. Please note: parents may be required to walk next to their children should the wrangler deem it necessary. Approx. 40-45 min. $45 per person, two person minimum and four maximum. All year rides. 170 lb. weight limit.1/2 hour lessons available for $25.00 for fun, brush up on skills, or show you can control the horse for trail rides.
After School Enrichment Program
Bella Oaks offers an after school enrichment program combining riding lessons with homework help both before and after the lessons. With experienced horse instructors with quality tutors, riders advance their skills and horse knowledge while still excelling in their school work. Children enjoy friendships, build self esteem, confidence and persistence.Each three-hour session is just $75 — try it for a month, we know you'll be pleased! We teach beginners thru advanced on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm - 6:00pm (call (925) 229-2171 for details).
Evening Adult Riding Program
Be part of a spectacular riding opportunity. Two hours of horsemanship, riding lessons, and even trail rides on some days. This class is for the beginner, or someone just wanting to brush up on skills. Come ride with us...this class is a lot of fun, good company, a good time, very educational, something for every body. Bella Oaks Cowpokes
These classes are for our tiny cowpokes, ages 3-6 on Saturday mornings from 10:00am - 11:00am. Children learn horsemanship, care of the horse, grooming and riding fundamentals. The session fee of $199.00 includes four one-hour classes. New sessions start every month.Private Lessons*
Bella Oaks Stables offers private and group lessons to meet your scheduling needs. Lessons can be customized to the rider's skills and areas of interest.- Private lesson rates start at $60/hour.
- Packages of five private lessons are available for $280.
- Group lessons are $45 per attendee.
- Parent-child lessons — never enough time, so spend it together!
