Our Instructors, Trainers, Specialists, Volunteers and Staff

Stevee Keller is from Boise, Idaho and has been riding horses for a good 15 years. She has been teaching for 8 years and loves to teach. She has a passion to see her students grow with horses as well as grow within themselves. She has many accomplishments as a rider in the show world in many different disciplines. She began riding in pony club where her love of jumping fell into place. She competed all the way up until her B3 rating. She broke off from pony club and found a trainer who took her under his wing and she excelled very fast. At age 12, she was jumping six foot fences traveling all over the northwest competing. As finances forced her to slow down in jumping she began a few different paths. She entered in the Miss Teen Rodeo Idaho contest, which she won.
She has shown pleasure rodeo three day eventing been on drill teams.

Apprenticed with Natural Balance farrier and natural hoof care specialist Marylynne Nicholson for two years before branching out on my own full time in 2009. I don't consider myself anti-horseshoe, but I look at the issue this way: If a horse needs a metal splint fixed to his feet to be sound, there's something wrong with his feet. My goal is to fix hoof pathology through appropriate trimming, nutrition and lifestyle. Many of my clients come to me because they have tried conventional treatments without success. I find it so rewarding to help these horses. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with these amazing animals! - stronghoof@gmail.com

Whether your horse is your friend or has a Job they need their teeth taken care of regularly. The largest of your horses digestion is with their teeth. In order for your horse to get the most out of your grains, forage, and hay, regular dental maintenance is essential. Whether you drive, ride or show in halter classes your horses performance will improve with proper equilibration and bit seats.

Bella Oaks is a little piece of heaven, as I remember from my childhood. I was raised with horses. My father raised and raced Quarter Horses. We had them in Show, Cutting, and Reining. He had a breeding ranch with fifty broodmares. We rode across the hills after school, through ponds for hours up and through Wild Cat Canyon. These were wonderful times and great memories.
While things and times have changed, I still want other children to have the same adventures and memories. I have the greatest joy when the ranch is filled with children and laughter.
The future of Bella Oaks will be a continual upgrading, with camps and adventure, family
time and enjoyment, where it's peaceful except for the sound of laughter.

Employment/Apprentice Opportunities

We are always seeking experienced people to work at our facility. If you are qualified and ready to work we will discuss the possibilities. If you want to get a summer job but just do not have the skills there are two options for you. You may either join our Counselor in Training Camp to become fully qualified for our camp or many others including babysitting training and certifications. Secondly, you may if almost ready but not quite, pay $135 a month to volunteer for a few weeks (lunch included). We will work with you and teach you what we do. You will be involved with the programs and experience the fun. This is not a guarantee for employment but it does get you one step closer. Background checks and references are required.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
